AI readiness assessment: know where the money is before you spend any
KOI AI's AI Readiness Assessment is a two-week, agent-run evaluation of a mid-market company or SMB. It scores readiness across six dimensions (strategy, data and infrastructure, talent and organization, process and adoption, governance, and value measurement), identifies 8 to 12 AI opportunities, ranks them by estimated ROI and risk, and ends with an executive briefing. It is a fixed fee from $10K. A free twelve-question self-assessment on this site gives you a first read in three minutes.

What it answers
Where value concentrates
Which processes consume the most skilled hours today, and what an agent would be worth on each, in your numbers.
Which processes are agent-ready
Documented, repeatable, high-volume work with clear approval points, as opposed to work that needs judgment settled first.
What blocks the result
Data access, the integration readiness of your CRM, ERP, and communications tools, and the approvals a regulated process needs.
What governance must exist
The controls, oversight, and accountability your use cases require, and which of them are already in place.
What to fund first
A ranked list with ROI estimates and risk scoring, in a sequence your CFO can read and sign.

Questions about the AI Readiness Assessment
What is the difference between the free self-assessment and the paid assessment?
The free self-assessment is twelve questions you answer yourself in three minutes. It returns a readiness score, your two weakest dimensions, and a recommended next step. The paid assessment is two weeks of agent-run interviews and process analysis with your team, a ranked list of 8 to 12 opportunities with ROI estimates, and an executive briefing.
Who from our side needs to take part?
The leaders who own the processes in question and the people who run them day to day. Interviews are scheduled around their calendars.
How do you estimate ROI for each opportunity?
For each opportunity we estimate the hours the process consumes today, the share an agent would take over, and the fully loaded cost of that time, then set the value against the implementation fee. It is the same method as the worked example on the pricing page, with your numbers instead of illustrative ones.
What if the assessment says we are not ready?
Then it says so, and what to fix first. The readiness score shows which of the six dimensions is holding you back, and the roadmap sequences the groundwork before the agents. You pay for the assessment, not for a recommendation to buy more.
What happens after the briefing?
Most clients go on to an AI Strategy & Roadmap or straight to implementing the top-ranked opportunity. Either way the findings are yours, and the free prototype is available for any opportunity on the list.
